What do you do when the world feels like it’s weighing down on you? When your worse fear is coming true? Do you take the easy way out and give up? Or do you get down on your knees and ask God for wisdom and strength to guide you through your trials and tribulations and face your trials head on?
More importantly, what do you do when all is going well in your life? Who do you give thanks to?
Who do you go to?
Who do you call when you’re happy, sad, content, joyful, sick, healthy, confused, headstrong, scared, brave...etc.
Take a look at the sky, the moon, the earth!!!
Take a look at yourself and tell me that God is not a marvelous God!
How dare me to not know who my GOD is!?
I ask you today....who do you call on when you are....(fill in the blank)?

Hi ,
This is a very nice piece. It's got me thinking about myself and really how i approach life when going through things.
I enjoyed it....

Subject: Contentment amid unfavorable seasons
Sometimes strong minded people have their bad days where they have their private "whoa is me" moments and get very depressed about one thing or another. Everyone goes through that phase. Sometimes in those moments, we think our issues are the worse in the world, and allow those thoughts to take form; and eventually we wallow in even deeper in our “whoa is me” moment. We become unhappy and unimpressed with our current situation and start wishful thinking. The key here is that, when that moment happens, surround yourself with positive and inspirational people.
Last week I suspected that moment was creeping in and before I allowed it to fester and take life, I attended this women's conference with two girlfriends. We did not know what the theme was...it was just divine intervention. Four women gave their testimonies and one of them really stuck to me. This woman had a career and landed herself a devoted husband who adored her whom she had been praying for, for years. All they wanted was children and they had done everything to have one. Eventually she was pregnant, but lost the baby. She tried IVF and eventually she was pregnant with triplets. She was bedridden throughout the whole pregnancy and eventually gave birth to her triplets at six months due to complications. She had a chance to hold all three. The first one died at the end of the first day. The second died at the end of the second day. The third one died at the end of the third day. Not only that, later her husband committed suicide. hmmm! In a matter of an instant, she had lost her whole family she had been yearning for. She said she is not living because of her...but because God is guiding her and by FAITH and CONTENTMENT, she is here.
Eventually after a very very long road of recovery, she found her second prince charming....but no children and she is living a very content life. Hmmm! WHAT WOULD YOU DO? I thought to myself, how can this woman who has faced such calamities use words like FAITH and CONTENTMENT; such powerful words! She said pretty much what Joe Osteen said the other day and I'm passing it on to you..."THERE’S A BLESSING AND A BURNING IN EVERY SEASON….DON’T FOCUS ON THE BURNING. GOD WON’T GIVE YOU THE BLESSING, IF YOU CAN’T’ HANDLE THE BURNING. SO EMBRACE THE PLACE WHERE YOU ARE".
Be Faithful and Content!!
