Drinking Responsibly and How to Prevent a Hangover (Infographic)

I'm all for having fun and drinking casually responsibly , especially during the holiday season.  However, be informed about the difference between an alcoholic and a casual consumer; and as well be a smart consumer.  If you find yourself in the following situation to include waking up thinking about alcohol fist thing in the morning; intellectualizing, explaining and lying about the amount of your alcohol consumption; in situations where your consumption is affecting you daily obligations....you are an alcoholic.  If you consume alcohol occasionally with moderation and responsibly, you fall under the "casual consumer" umbrella.

Keep in mind that I'm not at all advertising anyone to consume alcohol.  My message here is that realistically, many people will ring in the new year with alcohol, to commemorate the ending of the year that was and beginning of the new year; hence to celebrate.  For those who will be drinking today, please drink responsibly.

Before you drink, please remember the following:

- designate a friend who will be the driver; that person should not consume any alcohol whatsoever

- In case you do not have a designated driver and you feel a little buzzed, call someone to come get you...IT CAN WAIT

- if you feel a little buzzed; don't be a hero; think about the innocent people on the road...DO NOT DRIVE WHILE BUZZED

- Follow these below tips to prevent a hangover the next day...curtesy of Yb
